We are located at The First Sip Coffee & Pastries, 1 Outlet Collection Way, Entrance 1, Leduc, Alberta T9E 1J5, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you submit the wholesale inquiry form, we collect:
- Business name and business type (café, restaurant, office, other)
- Your name, phone number and email address
- What you currently use for your coffee, your approximate weekly coffee volume, and whether you are under a supply contract
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your wholesale inquiry and contact you by phone or email about it
- To prepare wholesale pricing and schedule a tasting at your shop
- With your consent, to send occasional updates about our wholesale program, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Ever.
Who processes it
- FormSubmit relays your form submission to our email inbox.
- Vercel hosts this website and processes standard server logs.
- Google Analytics, if enabled, collects anonymized usage statistics to help us improve the page.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and, if you become a wholesale client, for the duration of our business relationship plus any period required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it. Write to admin@ridgelineroast.com and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Safeguards
Your information travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and is only accessible to the owners of Ridgeline Roast. We limit access to the people who need it to respond to you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
